Aligning with the Department for Education’s process for the Safeguarding of Children and Vulnerable Adults, our vetting procedure includes Barred List Checks, web checks, prohibition searches and the ability to conduct online DBS checks. This process starts with a Telephone assessment to assess whether the teacher meets with Bamber Education’s requirements.
Our vetting requirements are as follows:
- Full Employment History
- Enhanced DBS (update service)
- Proof of Address
- 2 relevant references
- Children’s Barred List Check
- Health Declaration
- DfE number
- Teaching Regulation Agency registration (former GTC)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
All units above are mandatory for a Teacher to achieve full registration status.
Before a teacher starts on an assignment, they will have achieved the full registration status.
